A leading West Coast venture capital firm with a strong track record of backing high-growth technology companies is seeking a Principal to join their investment team. The firm focuses on Series A and B investments across enterprise software, fintech, and consumer technology.
Responsibilities:
• Source and evaluate early-stage investment opportunities through network development and market research
• Lead due diligence processes including financial modeling, market analysis, and management assessment
• Structure term sheets and negotiate investment terms with founding teams
• Serve on portfolio company boards and provide strategic guidance to management teams
• Drive value creation initiatives including business development, talent acquisition, and follow-on funding
Requirements:
• 7-10 years of experience in venture capital, growth equity, or investment banking
• MBA from top-tier institution or equivalent experience in technology investing
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills with expertise in SaaS metrics
• Proven track record in deal sourcing and execution
• Experience with enterprise software or fintech sectors preferred
