About the Role

The Power BI Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive business intelligence solutions that improve reporting, operational performance, and executive decision-making. Working closely with Finance, Information Technology, and Operations teams, this role develops automated reporting processes, supports data governance initiatives, and contributes to enterprise analytics modernization projects. Location: Seattle, Washington, United States (Remote)

Responsibilities

  • Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Create meaningful visualizations that support business decision-making.
  • Build scalable reporting solutions for enterprise users.
  • Enhance existing dashboards to improve usability and performance.
  • Develop executive and operational reporting tools.
  • Optimize dashboard functionality and user experience.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency.
  • Generate accurate reports for business stakeholders.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics.
  • Deliver timely analytical insights that support business objectives.
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis to address business needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Finance, IT, and Operations teams to gather reporting requirements.
  • Translate business needs into effective Power BI solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve analytics capabilities.
  • Present analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support enterprise reporting and modernization initiatives.
  • Foster collaboration across multiple business functions.
  • Data Governance & Quality
  • Support enterprise data governance initiatives.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting platforms.
  • Validate datasets before report publication.
  • Assist with data standardization and quality assurance activities.
  • Maintain documentation for dashboards and reporting processes.
  • Promote best practices for data management and reporting.
  • Process Improvement & Innovation
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting workflows and automation.
  • Support implementation of enterprise analytics solutions.
  • Contribute to data lake and reporting modernization initiatives.
  • Recommend improvements to business intelligence processes.
  • Stay current with emerging Power BI capabilities and industry best practices.
  • Continuously improve reporting efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Strong experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Experience automating business reporting processes.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical reporting solutions.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP or similar enterprise ERP systems.
  • Exposure to data engineering concepts and modern data architectures.
  • Experience with HubSpot or comparable business platforms.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data lake environments.
  • Experience supporting analytics within manufacturing or industrial organizations.
