We are looking for an enthusiastic Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic Adalvo team. This position offers an opportunity to well-suited candidates to join a growing, fast paced energetic environment and culture.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Portfolio Manager will identify and evaluate new product candidates for addition to Adalvo’s pipeline, ensuring that selected products are aligned with the overall portfolio strategy and functional processes and that the right products, dosage forms and technologies are being evaluated and selected.

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

This role will report directly to VP, Portfolio & Business Intelligence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:

  • Identify new product opportunities (short and long-term) and manage the cross-functional evaluation of these products including patent reviews, technical evaluations, and commercial assessments
  • Develop business cases through collaboration with technical, regulatory, IP and commercial. Fully understand business case drivers, including competitive landscape, clinical requirements, and other potential external factors which may impact valuation
  • Ensure that the Company has the most competitive portfolio and development program in its pipeline d. Conduct high-level portfolio overviews and make recommendations on project priorities based on NPV’s and time to-market
  • Prepare summary recommendations for product opportunities and present to Executive Leadership Team and other Senior Management for approval
  • Liaise with other functions on topics such as new project kick-off meetings, R&D project updates, launch management, operations planning, and commercialization/competitive scenarios
  • Update portfolio information tools, reports and databases as new information becomes available.
  • Support portfolio re-prioritization initiatives for pipeline products

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in a scientific/technical or related field. Advanced degree in business, management, or economics strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical and generic industry
  • Previous experience in Portfolio Management
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, partner-centric environment.
  • Experience in international markets and multicultural environments.
