This is not a “just process payroll” role.
This is a critical operational and compliance function that directly impacts staff experience, financial integrity, and audit readiness.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised, detail-driven Payroll & Finance Administrator to take ownership of payroll processing and support core financial operations.
You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across payroll and finance functions in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll
End-to-end payroll processing in line with SCHADS Award
Interpretation and application of:
Penalties (weekends, public holidays)
Overtime and shift allowances
Sleepover and active night provisions
Managing payroll queries via structured processes (e.g. pay queries)
Ensuring accuracy of timesheets and approvals (Flowlogic or similar systems)
Maintaining payroll records and audit trails
Finance Administration
Processing invoices, expenses, and reimbursements
Corporate card reconciliation and compliance monitoring
Supporting budgeting and financial reporting
Managing accounts payable and receivable functions
Assisting with financial audits and compliance documentation
Compliance & Governance
Ensuring alignment with NDIS Practice Standards and financial controls
Identifying discrepancies, risks, or non-compliance issues
Supporting continuous improvement in financial systems and processes
About You
We are looking for someone who is precise, accountable, and operationally sharp.
Essential
Proven experience in payroll (SCHADS Award highly preferred)
Strong understanding of payroll compliance and financial processes
High attention to detail
Ability to work with systems (Flowlogic, Xero, or similar)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Highly Regarded
Experience in NDIS / disability / healthcare sector
Exposure to audit environments
Advanced Excel skills (data tracking, reconciliation, reporting)
