- Provide support during peak payroll periods, audits, HRIS initiatives, vacations, and year‑end activities
- Monitor and respond to basic payroll inquiries, escalating or collaborating as needed to resolve discrepancies
- Take initiative to identify issues, ask questions, and contribute ideas to improve payroll processes
This is a hands‑on role where accuracy, teamwork, and reliability are essential and where your learning curve will be steep and rewarding.

- Comfortable working with tight payroll timelines and fixed deadlines; flexibility to occasionally stay after hours during peak periods is required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy – you take pride in getting things right
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (intermediate level for reconciliation tasks) and confidence using the MS Office Suite
- Experience with payroll systems is an asset (ADP WFN preferred, but not required)
- A proactive, eager‑to‑learn mindset – you take initiative and look for ways to support the team
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
