SUMMARY:
If balancing payslips gets your engine running and deadlines don’t make you stall, this could be your next pit stop. Our client, a leading automotive conglomerate based in Johannesburg East, is looking for a Payroll Administrator.
POSITION INFO:
Duties Will Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Full payroll function
- Applications for tax directives
- Completing statutory returns and handling statutory payments
- Completing IRP501 recons and the year-end on
- Staff queries
- Garnishees & maintenance orders
- Handling administration of medical aid, provident and funeral funds
- Capturing employee data in respect of engagements, terminations, transfers, and promotions
- Reconciliations of medical aid, provident and other third- party payments
- Importing data
- Payroll variances
- Preparing payroll files for finance and producing reports for month-end
- Filing & scanning
Education Requirements:
- Completed Matric (Grade 12)
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Payroll essential
Job Requirements and Skills:
- 5 to 6 years' experience in a Payroll Administrator position essential
- Sage 300 working knowledge essential
- Strong understanding of statutory payments and returns
- Payroll accounting and reporting to finance experience essential
- Deadline driven
- Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
- Team player
