Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for Payment Posting Specialist for a healthcare revenue cycle team at a fast-growing, innovative software-driven client. This role is remote-flexible position.
Position Overview
The Payment Posting Specialist will play a critical role in the revenue cycle by accurately posting incoming payments, analyzing remittances, and resolving posting discrepancies. This role requires technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and comfort navigating payor portals and ERA files. The position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and wants to contribute ideas to help shape department processes.

Responsibilities
- Review and post incoming payment reports accurately, ensuring proper allocation to patient accounts
- Analyze denials and collaborate with payors to resolve posting issues
- Utilize payor portals and remittances to manage posting and ERA files
- Identify process gaps and propose solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to support revenue cycle operations
- Adapt to evolving processes and contribute ideas for new workflow integrations
Qualifications
- Experience with payment posting, billing, and remittances
- Familiarity with ERA files and payor portals
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
- Tech-savvy with aptitude to learn new systems quickly
- Comfortable in a dynamic environment where processes may be evolving
Compensation And Benefits
- Targeting 50K-65K depending on experience
