Our client based in Bimringham is looking for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join their organisation. This is a hybrid role is paying between £40-45k. What you’ll do:
Support month-end processes by preparing accurate management accounts, reconciliations, and financial reports Collaborate closely with operational teams to provide insightful financial analysis that drives performance. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring all figures are robustly prepared and communicated effectively to stakeholders. Utilise PowerBI to analyse event data, identify trends, and present findings that inform business decisions. Contribute to the development of internal controls and procedures that enhance efficiency within the finance function.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards throughout all reporting activities. Take part in ad-hoc projects aimed at improving systems or processes within the finance department.
What you bring:
You have completed at least four exams towards your accountancy qualification (such as ACCA or CIMA) and are actively studying towards full qualification. Your experience includes working within fast-paced environments such as FMCG, retail, or third-party logistics sectors where adaptability is key. You possess strong analytical skills with proven ability to use PowerBI or similar tools for data visualisation and reporting purposes.
You demonstrate excellent interpersonal abilities that enable you to collaborate effectively with both finance colleagues and operational teams. You are dependable when it comes to meeting deadlines for month-end tasks and producing accurate management accounts under time pressure. You show commitment by supporting junior team members through mentoring or training initiatives within the finance function. You are comfortable travelling locally between sites as required for meetings You bring sensitivity and empathy when communicating complex information to non-finance stakeholders.
