Oracle Retail Business Analyst – Oracle Retail (RPM / SIM)
Location: Reading
Contract: Initial 9 Months
Day Rate: Competitive Day Rate (Inside IR35)
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong Oracle Retail expertise – specifically Pricing (RPM) and/or Inventory Management (SIM) – to help shape the future of our Core Retail technology landscape.
What You’ll Do
- Analyse retail business processes and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
- Lead requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, and process reviews.
- Produce high‑quality functional documentation, process flows, and solution outlines.
- Challenge assumptions and ensure solutions meet true business needs.
- Work across Technology, business teams, and suppliers to shape end‑to‑end retail solutions.
- Support delivery across multiple initiatives, including testing and business readiness.
- Act as an SME for Oracle Retail capabilities and mentor junior BAs.
What You Bring
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst in retail or finance‑driven environments.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle Retail RPM and/or SIM.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Experience working with integrations, data flows, and multi‑system testing.
- Skilled at managing stakeholders, third parties, and cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills.
