Job Purpose:
The Operations Manager is directly responsible for overseeing and organizing the equipment and staff to fulfil the production plan as well as acting as the first line of support for troubleshooting for any issues
Key responsibilities:
- Management of the operations team, overseeing the entire production process, planning, maintenance, process engineering and testing.
- Ensuring production schedule is meet while maintaining quality standards and manufacturing cost.
- Driver for industrialization on SMT lines and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes
- Sponsor for OPEX projects using Lean methodology
- Monitoring production costs and implementing cost-saving strategies
- Ensuring the team has a strong understanding of their impact on critical financial performance measures
Qualifications, Skills, & Experience
- B.E / B. Tech with at least 18+ years of experience from Electronics Manufacturing Industry
- Proven ability to influence and drive cross‑functional alignment across Manufacturing, Engineering, Material Planning and Logistics and Finance.
- Strong understanding of OEM planning cycles, digital cockpit technologies, and global automotive market dynamics.
- Experience with long‑range forecasting, scenario modeling, and planning tools (AI‑driven approaches a plus).
- Executive‑level communication skills and the ability to simplify complexity for decision‑makers.

Critical experiences required to be ready for this job:
- SMT technical knowledge is a MUST
- General operation experience on board electronic manufacturers is a MUST
- Automotive industry OEM requirements
- Knowledge on process engineering, testing and maintenance standards
- Core tools, PPAP, APQP, Measurement system analysis
- Project management skills (Timings, Follow up, Critical paths)
