Oscar de la Renta is hiring an experienced Operations Associate for our Chicago boutique in Plaza Del Lago (Wilmette, Chicago). Reporting to the Store Manager responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
- Keeping the stockroom organized to maximize efficiency for day to day sales, cycle counts and store inventories/audits
- Shipping and processing ecommerce orders daily
- Ensuring all shipping procedures are followed including; packing of merchandise meeting brand guidelines, shipping/labeling is accurate, and supporting paperwork is completed and logged
- Resolving inventory issues directly with the Management and relevant departments
- Participate in balancing inventory negatives
- Ensuring all receiving procedures are followed including; receiving merchandise, checking for damage, setting aside pre-sold inventory and putting stock away with appropriate care and attention to prevent damages from occurring in store
- Ensuring all items are pulled and processed with urgency
- Partnering with Sales Associates to ensure you have all necessary information from them for consignments, repairs, etc. and elevating any concerns or ongoing issues to management
- Organization and replenishment of all store supplies
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience in a similar Stock Associate role in a retail environment
- Experience in a customer service role with face-to-face customer contact
- Ability to adapt to frequent change in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to initiate contact and communication
- Motivated by being a team player with a common goal
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Outlook including word and excel
- Ability to lift heavy boxes (in excess of 30 pounds)
- Ability to walk up and down stairs and be on your feet and move about approximately 50% of the time
