Our client a leading VC Fund is seeking a Business Operations Analyst to join their group.

This can be for the asset management side or the OCIO business:

Business Operations Analyst to support operational workflows across the firm’s venture capital, private investment, and asset management activities. In this role, you will develop a strong understanding of the firm's investment platform and operational processes while gaining meaningful exposure across private investment execution and fund operations activities.

You will assist with the coordination and execution of investment-related operational workflows, including subscriptions, capital calls, investment documentation, funding coordination, and ongoing investment maintenance. You will also contribute to broader operational initiatives focused on process improvement, organization, and operational scalability across the platform.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong understanding of the firm's investment platform, operational workflows, and private investment processes
  • Support operational workflows related to venture capital and private investment activities, including subscriptions, capital calls, redemptions, and ongoing investment maintenance
  • Assist with the coordination and organization of investment documentation, onboarding materials, and operational records
  • Maintain operational trackers, workflow calendars, and internal reporting tools to help monitor deadlines and outstanding items
  • Coordinate with custodians, fund administrators, external managers, and internal stakeholders to support timely operational execution
  • Assist with funding coordination, wire preparation, and cash movement tracking processes
  • Support operational aspects of secondary transactions and other investment-related activities
  • Collaborate across teams to enhance and streamline operational processes and internal systems
  • Help organize, maintain, and improve operational procedures and workflow documentation
  • Uphold a high standard of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail in all interactions

Experience / Required Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, venture capital operations, private equity operations, RIA, asset management, family office operations, or a related financial services field
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, professional environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  • Commitment to quality and attention to detail, ensuring that work is complete, accurate, and on time
  • Demonstrated interest in private investments, venture capital, sustainable investing, and/or asset management operations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Minimum education: BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Business, or liberal arts field
  • Minimal travel requirements, up to 5-10% annually

$110-$120K base plus bonus and profit sharing
