An Investment Management Firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an Operations Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Support trade settlement, operational processing, and reconciliation activities across a variety of investment products
- Coordinate with brokers, counterparties, custodians, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing
- Investigate and resolve trade breaks, cash discrepancies, and operational issues
- Perform daily cash and position reconciliations and maintain accurate operational records
- Assist with fund operations, expense tracking, NAV oversight, and month-end/quarter-end close processes
- Support investor reporting, capital activity, and other operational deliverables as needed
- Contribute to process improvements, workflow automation initiatives, and operational infrastructure enhancements
- Assist with onboarding new accounts, counterparties, and investment structures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience within operations, settlements, middle office, fund operations, or a related financial services environment
- Exposure to investment operations, trade lifecycle management, and reconciliations preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with financial systems or investment platforms is a plus
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
