This position supports the Operational Non-Financial Risk (ONFR) function by managing and overseeing three enterprise-wide risk programs. The role ensures adherence to established frameworks, policies, and standards across the bank. It is a maternity leave replacement, critical for maintaining ongoing program governance, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. The team culture is collaborative yet allows for a degree of independence, with team members partnering closely across the broader ONFR organization while managing their own areas of responsibility.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
- 7 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of operational risk management practices, designated business/product portfolio, regulatory requirements, quantitative techniques, and economic capital methodologies.
- Experience with risk policy frameworks; quality control/testing frameworks.
- Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide oversight, monitoring, and reporting on operational risks for a designated portfolio.
- Develop and monitor the operational management framework, including governance framework & practices.
- Implement methodology, metrics, and program standards for the assigned portfolio to ensure compliance.
- Lead the development and maintenance of the governance system and framework.
- Support development and execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate the management of databases; ensure alignment and integration of data with data governance standards.
- Lead and integrate the monitoring, measurement & reporting on the status of the operational risk governance program.
- Administer and maintain operational risk program activities in adherence to all policies, procedures, and established processes.
