Job Description
Duties
- Bookkeeping: Maintain financial records and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance.
- Tax Preparation: Gather information and help prepare tax returns for clients.
- Client Communication: Interact with clients, address inquiries, and help.
- Payroll Processing: Assist in processing payroll for clients, including calculating wages, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Value Added Tax (VAT) Compliance: Ensure clients comply with VAT regulations by assisting in VAT registration, filing VAT returns, and managing VAT records.
Qualifications
- BCom + Articles
Skills
- Absolutely fluent in English and Afrikaans due to customer base.
- Proficiently navigate accounting software for data input and report generation. (SAGE Online, Sage Payroll, Xero, Pastel, CaseWare, E-filling).
- Strong technical accounting skills
