About the Internship:
As a Mergers and Acquisitions Intern, you will work on transaction analysis, valuation modelling, and deal structuring. You will have the opportunity to engage in multiple mini-projects across various M&A domains. The internship is designed to provide practical exposure to M&A processes in a Fin Tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the internship, you will work through a structured set of assignments designed to enhance your understanding of M&A principles and practices. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Deal Analysis
Research potential acquisition targets in the Fin Tech sector
Create comprehensive company profiles
Develop strategic fit assessments
Build synergy opportunity analyses
Valuation Modelling
Develop DCF valuation models
Create comparable company analyses
Build transaction multiples assessments
Design accretion/dilution models
Due Diligence Support
Create due diligence checklists
Develop financial statement analysis frameworks
Build operational assessment templates
Design technology evaluation approaches
Deal Structuring
Research transaction structure options
Create consideration mix analyses
Develop financing alternatives assessments
Build post-merger integration frameworks
Capstone Project
Complete an end-to-end M&A project including:
Target identification, Valuation analysis, Due diligence framework, and Integration planning
