Position Overview
Our growing Strategy team at HYBE America is seeking a high-energy Strategy Associate with an MBA and operating experience in entertainment. The ideal candidate brings sharp analytical thinking, is comfortable working through ambiguity, and already has established strong relationships and connections across the entertainment industry. This role will report directly into the office of the CEO.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Santa Monica office, with in-person collaboration [3] days per week and remote work [2] days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft business cases and financial models to support strategic decisions and investment recommendations
- Conduct market research and track industry trends relevant to HYBE America’s business
- Lead competitive analysis across the entertainment and music landscape
- Support investor analysis, investor preparation, and deal evaluation, including market sizing, benchmarking, and P&L projections
- Research and evaluate potential partnerships and partnership structures
- Build frameworks and decision-making tools that help leadership move faster
- Create materials that share market and industry learnings across the organization
- Partner cross-functionally (e.g., with Legal, Finance, Product) to bring strategic projects to execution
Qualifications
- MBA required
- 3-7
- Prior operating experience in the entertainment industry, with existing relationships/connections in the space
- Comfortable working within ambiguity and able to make progress without a fully scoped problem
- High empathy and strong instincts for how decisions land across teams
- Genuine curiosity and a habit of asking good questions
- Positive, high energy
- Self-starter mentality with a bias toward execution
- Strong financial modeling skills

Salary Range
The salary range for this job is $130,000 – $200,000. This is a good faith effort at the time of posting. This range is base salary only and does not include benefits and any other compensatory components of the role.
