Managing Director Level Opportunity – FP&A Advisory
I’m working with a fast-growing financial consulting firm that is continuing to scale its FP&A Advisory / Office of the CFO practice.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Finance Transformation leader who can combine hands-on delivery, executive advisory, and commercial/practice growth.
The role will focus on advising CFOs, finance leaders, PE sponsors, and portfolio company leadership teams across:
• FP&A transformation
• Budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Management reporting and KPI development
• Strategic finance and scenario modelling
• Liquidity / cash forecasting
• Board and investor-ready reporting
• Finance transformation and performance improvement
• Transaction-related support across M&A, integration, refinancing, and exit readiness

The ideal profile will bring 15+ years’ experience across FP&A, strategic finance, CFO advisory, or finance transformation, ideally with exposure to consulting/professional services and/or PE-backed businesses.
Relevant backgrounds could include:
• FP&A Advisory / Office of the CFO consulting
• Strategic Finance / PE Value Creation
• Finance Transformation
• Corporate FP&A leadership within PE-backed businesses
• Former CFO / Head of FP&A profiles with strong advisory and commercial orientation
Experience with finance technologies such as Anaplan, OneStream, Workday Adaptive, Planful, Hyperion, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar tools would be highly relevant.
This would suit a senior Director, Managing Director, or Partner-track leader looking to join a high-growth advisory platform with strong momentum, private capital exposure, and a clear opportunity to help build a practice.
