Core Responsibilities
- Co-lead the Querétaro plant together with the Managing Director Operations; support site setup, ramp-up, and continuous development
- Lead commercial and financial steering for the site (P&L, cost control, reporting, planning/forecasting, and liquidity), ensuring transparency and performance insights at company and project level
- Build and develop the local finance/governance organization; lead teams, develop capabilities, and drive productivity and efficiency
- Establish effective governance and internal controls (roles, responsibilities, decision rights, escalation paths) aligned with HQ standards
- Own integrated risk management across commercial, contractual, financial, and operational topics (incl. project risk, margins, liquidity exposure, and FX)
- Prepare structured management reporting and decision papers for Global HQ and key stakeholders; ensure reliable data and compliance
Profile
- Senior leadership experience in commercial and financial steering in an industrial environment (plant and/or project business), with P&L and cash accountability
- Integrative leadership in a matrix environment: clear, assertive, and collaborative; develops teams, creates accountability, and aligns stakeholders
- Strong finance toolkit: reporting (local and international), controlling, planning/forecasting, and liquidity management; strong analytical skills and business judgment
- Track record in driving performance improvements and value creation in transformation, ramp-up, and scaling contexts
- Ownership mindset for integrated risk management across commercial, contractual, financial, and operational topics (incl. project risk, margins, liquidity, and FX)
- Excellent communication and influencing skills up to HQ/C-level; delivers structured management reporting and supports fact-based decisions
- Experience in international and cross-cultural settings; ideally familiar with both German and Mexican business environments
