As their portfolio of assets continues to expand, they are seeking a Manager, Project Finance & Capital Markets to support the structuring, analysis, and execution of financing solutions across the business. This individual will play an important role in evaluating investment opportunities, supporting capital raising activities, and helping bring complex transactions from initial evaluation through financial close.

The position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across development, legal, tax, and asset management while gaining exposure to a growing portfolio of energy infrastructure assets.

This role is designed as an individual contributor position with the opportunity to mentor junior team members informally.

Key Responsibilities

Financing & Capital Markets Activity

  • Support the structuring and execution of financing transactions across the company’s portfolio of energy storage and distributed energy projects
  • Assist with capital raising initiatives including project-level debt, tax equity, mezzanine financing, and corporate-level capital solutions
  • Work closely with internal teams and external advisors to develop optimal transaction structures and financing strategies
  • Coordinate due diligence processes and support negotiations through to financial close
  • Assist in preparing materials for financing partners, investors, and internal decision-making committees

Financial Modeling & Investment Analysis

  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models used to evaluate project economics and financing structures
  • Assess project performance under a variety of revenue scenarios including contracted and merchant market exposure
  • Conduct valuation analysis at both the project and portfolio level
  • Support investment and financing decisions by providing detailed financial insights and scenario analysis

Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with teams across development, accounting, tax, legal, procurement, and asset management to ensure alignment throughout the financing process
  • Support the implementation of financial risk management strategies related to interest rates, currencies, and commodity exposure
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support portfolio growth and capital deployment strategies
  • Act as a key point of coordination between internal stakeholders and external financing partners

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Approximately 4–6 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, investment banking, or a related discipline
  • Experience working in transaction-driven environments with exposure to renewable energy or energy infrastructure projects
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial modeling tools
  • Ability to prepare investment materials and present complex financial concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in finance, business, or a related discipline
  • Prior experience working with renewable energy or energy storage projects
  • Experience mentoring junior professionals or supporting team development
  • Ability to translate financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders

This role requires an individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where transactions often move quickly and require close coordination across multiple teams.

Travel may be required for project site visits, conferences, and meetings with financing partners.

Base Salary: $135,000 – $150,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
