Drive operational risk management at Manulife as a Manager, Operations Control & Governance in a hybrid model. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks effectively.
In this role, you will enhance Canada Operations by executing core elements of the Operational Risk Management Framework. With 5–7 years of experience and strong project management skills, you will lead risk assessments, manage corrective action plans, and facilitate audit engagements. Effective communication and analytical skills are vital to present findings to senior management and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute the Operational Risk Management Framework effectively
• Manage Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) for teams
• Lead risk assessments for projects impacting key controls
• Conduct audit engagements and document findings
• Analyze operational risk incidents and develop preventive controls
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or finance required
• 5–7 years of operational risk management experience
• Knowledge of Insurance, Group Benefits, or Contact Centres
• Strong communication skills for senior presentations
• Familiarity with audit methodologies and controls
