Join the Citrin Cooperman Management Consulting practice as part of a growing, entrepreneurial consulting team focused on helping middle‑market organizations solve complex business problems and improve performance. As an MC Manager, you will lead teams through the full lifecycle of client engagements—from problem definition and diagnostics to recommendations, implementation planning, and execution support—working with leaders across functions to drive measurable results through process, organization, and operating model change.
As the practice continues to scale, Managers play a critical role in shaping delivery standards, mentoring teams, and building the consulting business. This role is designed for experienced consultants who can operate independently with clients, exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations, and balance delivery excellence with practice growth.
Types of Engagements
You will lead and oversee engagements across a broad range of transformation and advisory work, including:
· Business, Finance, and Operations Assessments – Evaluating people, process, and technology maturity and identifying practical improvement opportunities
· Process Redesign & Optimization – Redesigning end‑to‑end processes and advising on automation and enabling tools
· Operating Model Design – Aligning finance and operations with strategy, governance, and performance goals
· Value Creation – Driving EBITDA and cash improvement through growth, cost reduction, working capital, and performance management
· Digital Enablement – Using data, automation, and AI to improve decisions and execution
· Systems Strategy & Selection – Defining requirements and supporting vendor‑agnostic software selection (primarily ERP and adjacent solutions)
· Implementation Advisory and Organizational Change Management – Supporting major implementations by managing change, organizational impacts, and key decisions
· Merger & Acquisition Integration – Support planning & integration of personnel, processes, and systems during merger, acquisition, or carveout events
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery & Advisory
· Own large workstreams or full engagements, across strategy, process, systems, and change dimensions
· Provide informed guidance on strategic, operational, and technology decisions
· Design future‑state processes, operating models, and governance frameworks
· Identify opportunities to improve operations using digital tools, automation, data, and AI
· Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact for assigned engagements
· Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders during periods of organizational and system change
· Engagement & Financial Management
· Translate client objectives into structured workplans and clear team direction
· Manage engagement budgets, timelines, risks, and dependencies
· Anticipate issues and proactively course correct to protect delivery and client relationships
· Support engagement economics and contribute to margin discipline
· Lead, coach, and mentor senior and junior consultants
· Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support professional development
· Foster a high performance, collaborative team environment
Practice Building & Business Development
· Play an active role in proposals, client pursuits, and account expansion
· Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, and delivery standards
· Support thought leadership and help shape the long-term direction of the Management Consulting practice

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
· Approximately 7-10+ years of relevant experience, typically including management consulting, transformation advisory, or equivalent client‑facing roles
· Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex client engagements
· Deep experience in one or more of the following:
· Finance or operations transformation
· ERP and enterprise systems initiatives
· Digital enablement, automation, data, or AI programs
· Preferred qualifications, but not required:
· Industry experience: Manufacturing & Distribution, Professional Services, Not‑for‑Profit, Life Sciences, or Financial Services
· Experience with modern ERP platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, Intacct, or Sage
· High-degree of proficiency in Microsoft Toolsets including Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Copilot, etc.
