ROLE OVERVIEW
The Manager, FP&A & Accounting is a senior, hands-on finance leader responsible for controllership, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnership across multiple operating units. Reporting to the CFO, this role serves as a key financial partner to the business, providing insight, structure, and discipline to support scaling operations and improving profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Leadership & Controllership
- Own enterprise-wide performance across revenue, gross margin, and SG&A
- Lead the monthly close from both FP&A and accounting perspectives
- Provide final FP&A sign-off on results prior to executive reporting
- Identify and address financial risks, leakage, and control gaps
- Partner with Accounting, Treasury, and external advisors to ensure accuracy and alignment
FP&A, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and reforecasts
- Build and maintain scenario models (fuel, FX, volume, churn, regulatory changes)
- Own gross margin forecasting across service lines
- Deliver executive-ready insights and performance reporting
- Define and manage KPIs, dashboards, and leadership scorecards
Commercial & Operational Partnership
- Act as a finance partner to Sales, Transportation, Customs, Fulfillment, and Corporate teams
- Support pricing governance, deal approvals, and non-standard contract reviews
- Provide deal desk oversight to protect margins and enforce pricing discipline
- Analyze customer and deal-level profitability and cost-to-serve
- Identify revenue leakage, billing gaps, and margin erosion
- Support quota setting, commission modeling, and sales compensation analysis
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of FP&A and Accounting analysts
- Set clear priorities, expectations, and development plans
- Review outputs and elevate analytical quality
- Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement
Cross-Functional & Strategic Support
- Support acquisition integration, new entity setup, and international operations
- Partner on systems, reporting automation, and analytics (e.g., Qlik)
- Contribute to executive initiatives tied to growth, profitability, and risk management
- Ensure finance outputs are clear, accurate, and decision-focused
