Role Description The successful candidate will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, financial performance analysis, and management insights across all companies in the Integrated Retail Portfolio. This role acts as a business partner to executive leadership by translating financial and operational data into forward-looking insights, supporting informed decision-making, performance optimisation, and achievement of strategic objectives.
Key Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Leading the annual budgeting process across the Integrated Retail Portfolio.
- Developing and managing rolling forecasts, long-range plans, scenario analyses, and financial models to support strategic planning, capital investments, pricing decisions, business cases, and operational decision-making.
- Reviewing and analysing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance.
- Preparing management commentary, executive dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports.
- Leading the development and continuous improvement of business intelligence tools, visual analytics, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, data integrity, and reporting efficiency.
- Driving continuous improvement and governance across FP&A processes, tools, systems, standards, timelines, and reporting frameworks, while coaching FP&A capability across the portfolio.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Professional accounting designation such as ACCA, FCCA, or equivalent.
- Masters in Business Administration or other postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in a FP&A, commercial finance, or finance leadership role.
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modelling, management reporting, and business performance analysis.
