Role Description The Manager Finance Account is a full-time, on-site role based at Tunku Laksamana Johor Cancer Centre in Johor Baharu. This role oversees financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to support effective decision-making and regulatory compliance. The Manager Finance Account monitors accounts receivable and payable, manages cash flow, and ensures accurate and timely posting of financial transactions. They coordinate with clinical and administrative departments on billing and revenue cycle activities, while maintaining strong relationships with patients, vendors, and partners regarding financial matters. The role includes leading and coaching the finance and accounts team, improving financial processes, supporting audits, and implementing internal controls to safeguard the centre’s assets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Finance skills, including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Candidates should possess Account Management skills for overseeing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing activities.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle patient and stakeholder financial inquiries professionally and empathetically.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills to support revenue optimization, fee structures, and collaboration with relevant departments.
- Candidates should possess Team Management skills to lead, guide, and develop the finance and accounts team effectively.
- Relevant academic qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are an advantage.
- Experience in healthcare or hospital finance operations is beneficial, along with strong knowledge of financial controls and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheets, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
