Our client, a high-end alternative investment firm with $100M AUM is seeking a Controller that will partner closely with the rest of the Fund Finance team to manage the month-end close process, monthly subscription and quarterly redemption activity, distribution activity, as well as various ad hoc projects. Must have public accounting experience and a CPA.
What You'll Do
- Calculate management fees, performance fee allocations, and P&L allocations
- Collaborate with the Compliance team on investment structures and regulatory filings
- Maintain relationship with Fund Administrators.
- Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Review monthly and quarterly NAV workbooks
What We're Looking For
- Public accounting experience
- CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including management responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
