Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Management Accountant, based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom. The Management Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accruals, analyzing financial data, and supporting efficient financial planning and reporting. The role also involves providing insight through financial and business analysis to support strategic decision-making and assisting in key financial processes, ensuring compliance with the company’s standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing Financial Statements and managing Accruals
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Solid foundation in Finance and Accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Professional certification or progress towards a recognized accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate financial information effectively
- Familiarity with financial software and proficiency in spreadsheets
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
