Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to support our finance team in delivering timely and accurate financial information.
The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and other financial reporting activities.
This role is ideal for a qualified / part-qualified accountant eager to develop their career in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
• Process journal entries with oversight across each business's general ledger
• Help maintain accurate financial records and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Work with internal departments to gather relevant financial data
• Support audits by preparing necessary documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance function
Qualifications and Skills:
• Part-qualified finalist or qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with 3–5+ years’ management accounting experience
• Working toward ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent qualification
• Working knowledge of Sage Intacct, including its dimensions, reporting, and month-end processes
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel (XLOOKUP/SUMIFS, Pivots, Power Query; ability to build robust models)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven ability to manage competing deadlines with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated track record of improving reporting/processes in a lean finance function
• Exposure to audit, statutory accounts support, and basic tax/VAT processes
