Salary: £50,000 – £52,000 (negotiable)

This is a stand-alone, high-impact role working closely with the Financial Controller and CFO in a business where ideas are welcomed, voices are heard, and finance plays a real part in shaping the company’s future.

The Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work closely with a small collaborative finance team and take ownership of core management accounting responsibilities, including:
- Month-end processes, reporting and analysis
- Accruals, reconciliations and financial controls
- Departmental cost reviews and performance insights
- Business partnering across the organisation
- Supporting payroll processes across multiple locations
- Improving and automating finance processes
- Mentoring and supporting the Assistant Accountant
This is a role for someone who wants their ideas heard and enjoys helping build a more efficient, modern finance function.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role, or accountant on the up
- Ideally experience within an SME environment
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Someone proactive who enjoys improving systems and processes
- Part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or qualified by experience
