We are seeking a dynamic, ambitious Management Accountant based in our Ballymount, Dublin, Head Office. This position plays a key role in supporting both Finance and Operations, acting as a vital strategic link between the two functions.

In this role, you will gain significant exposure at the operational level, working closely with key departments including Production, Sales, Warehouses and Logistics. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who wants to deepen their manufacturing controlling experience and actively contribute to decision-making across our sites.

Reporting to the Financial Accountant and the Finance Director when required, the successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities;

  • Financial Reporting: Assistance in the preparation and review monthly management accounts to the highest standards, ensuring strict accuracy and robust supporting details.
  • Cost Accounting: Review standard costing versus actual costings for all products to drive operational profitability.
  • Budgeting & Audit: Assist the Senior Manager with the preparation of annual budgets and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee stock control and reconciliations for multiple stock locations; assist in implementing, maintaining, and managing stock control.
  • Continuous Improvement: Review, automate, and implement standardized processes on a continuous, rolling basis to ensure a strong financial control environment.

Suitable Candidates should have:

  • Part or newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA / CIMA) with 2–3 years of experience in a similar manufacturing or industry role.
  • Strong IT literacy, highly proficient in Excel. Knowledge of SAP B1, Power BI, Snowflake is a distinct advantage.
  • Commercial Mindset: A genuine interest in the manufacturing sector and a desire to deeply understand business operations.
  • Communication: Exceptional direct communicator (in person and on phone) who thrives on engaging directly with Operations and Supply Chain teams.
  • Data Integrity: Fundamentally driven by data accuracy, a high level of attention to detail, and strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
