Job Description & Responsibilities
United Garage Limited – Hertz International Licensee, is currently looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will assume the following key responsibilities:
Nominal Ledger:
· Ownership of the Trial balance for the legal entity
· Completion of the monthly Management accounts
· Updating the Fixed Asset register incl. depreciation run, disposal and additions
· Review of monthly prepayments and accruals
· Reconciliation of related party balances
· Ensure VAT returns are completed on a quarterly basis incl. submission and payment
Debtors Ledger:
· Issuing of client statements on a periodic basis
· Debtors chasing and dealing with disputes
Creditors Ledger:
· Reconciliation of Key partner accounts/ monthly
· Review (weekly/ monthly) supplier payment run
· Ensure all supplier payments are posted in a timely manner
Bank:
· To perform bank / loans / petty cash reconciliations monthly
· To update and prepare the monthly rolling cashflow forecast
Audit:
· To support the compilation of annual audit deliverables
· To support any ad-hoc requests during the audit process
Budgeting:
· Support the annual Budgeting / rolling forecast process with support of the Finance Manager
Other:
· Assisting in the preparation and compilation of any ad hoc reports/assignments as directed by Finance Manager/ General Manager
· Support in development of existing I.T ERP – automation, processes and overall enhancements (with support of Finance Manager)
Skills required:
· Part Qualified (ACCA, CIMA)
· Minimum of 2-3 years related experience in a similar role
· Someone with a positive, can-do attitude, who is a team player and can communicate well with all departments within the organization.
· Strong analytical and numerical skills
· Ability to interpret financial data and present insights clearly
