Position: Lead Educational Conversations as a Volunteer Financial Advisor
Location: Dundalk
Drive financial literacy and leadership in a volunteer Financial Advisor role. Engage with officers to enhance their financial skills and support chapter wellness while working remotely.
This role focuses on coaching and mentoring officers in the Financial department to develop their leadership abilities and financial expertise. You will work closely with the financial vice president to ensure sound budgeting and accountability, fostering an environment of growth and responsibility. Your guidance will empower collegians to uphold their financial commitments effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Educate Financial department officers on leadership roles
• Oversee budget submissions and financial health
• Monitor outstanding balances and enforce accountability
• Coach chapter members in financial best practices
• Attend advisory board meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
• Experience with financial best practices and literacy
• Strong communication and mentoring skills
• Ability to contribute 5 to 15 hours per week
• Knowledge of financial tools and reporting systems
• Commitment to fostering a supportive chapter culture
