Role Summary:
The team is seeking an Investment Associate to support coverage within the Software sector. This is a fundamental equities role focused on idea generation, deep-dive research, and ongoing portfolio support. The position offers direct exposure to the investment process, working closely with a Portfolio Manager on sourcing, underwriting, and monitoring investment opportunities across public markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed fundamental analysis on publicly traded Software companies
  • Build and maintain financial models to support investment recommendations and valuation work
  • Track industry trends, competitive positioning, and key drivers across the Software ecosystem
  • Assist in portfolio construction, sizing decisions, and risk monitoring
  • Engage with company management teams, expert networks, and sell-side research to inform views
  • Continuously reassess investment theses based on earnings, news flow, and market developments

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, or a related field with exposure to Software
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, modeling, and valuation frameworks
  • Advanced analytical skillset with high attention to detail
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and interest in public markets investing
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Compensation:
Base salary: $150,000 + performance-based bonus
