Junior Financial & Operations Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Financial & Operations Analyst to support our team during a high-volume period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys working with financial and operational data to support healthcare business operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly budget updates, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership using Excel and reporting tools.
- Support cost-benefit analyses for operational initiatives and resource planning.
- Collect, validate, and organize data from multiple systems to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Assist with staffing, workload, and productivity reporting.
- Develop dashboards and visual reports to communicate key performance metrics.
- Partner with finance, operations, and clinical teams to gather data and support business decisions.
- Document reporting processes and assist with process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Healthcare Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, operations analysis, or reporting.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets and producing accurate reports.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, hospital, or medical group operations.
- Experience with SQL, SAS, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, or staffing/productivity reporting.
- Familiarity with financial or operational performance metrics.
