Junior Business Analyst
We are working with a leading boutique asset manager, which is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join its team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional to gain broad exposure across finance, operations, reporting, and process automation within a highly regarded investment management environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the business to improve reporting processes, enhance operational efficiency, and support the ongoing development of automation initiatives. The role offers a unique blend of finance, data, and business analysis, making it ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career at the intersection of investment management and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Support automation and process improvement initiatives across reporting, finance, and operational functions.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions.
- Support data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting activities to improve decision-making and operational effectiveness.
- Contribute to ongoing digital transformation initiatives across the business.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance or a related discipline with a strong academic record.
- Strong grounding in finance, ideally both academically and in practical experience (internship or early role). Strong understanding of financial markets, investment management, or core finance concepts.
- Good working knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrable interest in automation, data analysis, and Ai.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to learning.
