We are looking for a detail-oriented and capable Junior Accountant to join a stable and growing engineering business within an international group.
This role is suited to a candidate with solid foundational experience in accounting, who can confidently handle day-to-day financial processes and contribute to reporting and compliance.

- ¾ What You’ll Be Doing
- Capture and process financial transactions (invoices, payments, receipts)
- Perform bank, supplier, and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with monthly reporting, journals, and financial packs
- Support VAT, PAYE, and UIF submissions
- Ensure compliance with South African accounting standards and tax regulations
- Work on accounting systems (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar)
- Assist with audit preparation and financial controls
ПŽ¯ Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting (BCom / Accounting Science or similar)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Junior Accountant or similar role
- Working knowledge of SA accounting standards and tax (VAT, PAYE, UIF)
- Proficiency in accounting/financial systems (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar)
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy

- Experience in a structured finance environment
- Exposure to audit processes
- Studying towards a professional qualification (SAIPA / SAICA)
