Job Summary:
Day & Night Company provides rental power solutions across Saudi Arabia. We are hiring a full‑time Junior Accountant to keep our books clean in Odoo and Excel and support smart decisions as we grow. The ideal candidate should be self motivated and have at least 1 year of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia with good knowledge of bookkeeping, financial transactions, VAT compliance, and basic financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily bookkeeping activities and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Record and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and account statements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Assist in VAT calculations, filing preparation, and ensure compliance with Saudi VAT regulations.
• Coordinate with internal departments for accounting-related matters.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents and supporting records.
• Perform other accounting tasks assigned by management.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Basic knowledge of financial statements and reporting.
• Experience with Saudi VAT procedures and compliance.
• Good computer skills (MS Excel and accounting software knowledge preferred).
Preferred Skills:
• Candidates who can communicate in both English and Arabic will be preferred.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems will be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Experience Required:
Minimum 1 year (Saudi Arabia accounting experience preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or related discipline
