The Jr. Accounting Specialist role is an ideal entry-level position for a recent graduate or someone with a couple years of accounting experience, which will play a key role in Payroll, Employee reimbursement requests and various other projects.
2 years experience max
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Duties and Responsibilities Could **
· Maintain and update accounting records and files
· Managing financial reports, records, and accounts
· Analyze budgets and create expense reports
· Maintaining the general ledger
· Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g. by assets, liabilities, and expenses)
· Reconcile bank statements
· Help with bi-weekly payroll
· Process employee expense reports
· Prepare documents for audits
· Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
· Report to the Accounting Manager and work to improve financial processes
· Various other assigned duties
Max **** $20/hr.
