Role and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, templates, and governance structures.
  • Define and monitor project intake, prioritization, staging, and portfolio dashboards.
  • Ensure consistent risk, issue, change, and quality management across projects.
  • Maintain IT project portfolio with visibility into status, health, benefits, and resource needs.
  • Collaborate with Business Leaders to prioritize demand based on value and risk.
  • Develop and maintain standard project plans, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate roadmaps and dependency management across programs.
  • Track benefits realization and post-implementation reviews.
  • Forecast and manage resource capacity (people, budget, tools) across IT projects.
  • Coordinate with delivery teams to optimize resource and vendor engagement.
  • Proactively identify, log, assess, and mitigate project risks; escalate where needed.
  • Manage change requests with impact analysis and proper gating.
  • Ensure risk ownership and timeliness of mitigation actions.
  • Define and monitor quality gates, testing strategies, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide accurate, timely status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Prepare program-level communications and governance meeting materials.
  • Manage IT project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking; support cost optimization.
  • Validate and authorize expenditures in line with approvals and governance.
  • Govern external vendors and managed services in collaboration with procurement.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, communications, and engagement plans.
  • Administer PMO tools (e.g., MS Project/Planview/Jira) and ensure data integrity.
  • Maintain repository of standard templates, playbooks, and lessons learned.
  • Lead PMO community of practice; drive knowledge sharing and capability uplift.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in IT project management, PMO operations, or program coordination.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Proven experience managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables in multi-team environments.
  • Ability to define, implement, and monitor project governance frameworks, including risk, issue, and change management processes.
  • Proficiency in project tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to summarize complex technical concepts into executive-level reports.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, including managing up to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with preparing project dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics for management review.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cloud-based environments.
  • Exposure to financial and resource planning, budget forecasting, and vendor coordination.
  • Ability to lead meetings, drive project alignment, and ensure accountability across technical and business teams.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Exposure to Financial Technology, Banking, or Stock Brokerage projects will be an advantage.
  • High attention to detail, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
