Role Description

Heartland AEA is seeking a Remote Invoice Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations by processing invoices, maintaining records, and ensuring accurate documentation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with details, staying organized, and contributing to efficient business processes in a collaborative environment.

This is a remote position with opportunities to develop professional administrative and accounting skills while working alongside experienced team members.

Responsibilities

  • Review, verify, and process incoming invoices in a timely manner
  • Enter invoice information into financial systems with a high degree of accuracy
  • Match invoices with supporting documentation and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized digital records and documentation
  • Communicate with internal departments regarding invoice status and payment information
  • Assist with account reconciliation and routine financial reporting activities
  • Monitor invoice workflows to ensure deadlines are met
  • Support month-end administrative and accounting processes as needed
  • Uphold confidentiality and data integrity standards
