About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical professional to join their Investor Relations team in Toronto. This role will focus on analyzing financial and market data, supporting the preparation of investor-facing materials, and contributing to core financial reporting processes.

This position offers strong exposure to capital markets, investor communications, and financial disclosure, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build expertise in investor relations within a highly detail-oriented and confidential environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and manage financial and market data to support internal insights and external reporting
  • Monitor capital markets trends, industry developments, and peer/competitor activity
  • Support the preparation of investor relations materials, including presentations and disclosures
  • Track and summarize analyst estimates and consensus data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, etc.) to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis and briefing materials for internal stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and data quality
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in capital markets, investor relations, equity research, or financial data/analytics
  • Degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • Strong interest in public markets and financial analysis
  • Experience working with financial data platforms and market intelligence tools
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Exposure to financial reporting or investor communications is an asset
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial information
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
