The role we are looking for is a supporting Finance function for Private equity and other alternative funds that ensure independent evaluation of investments and assets that are acquired and being managed by INVL. We are looking for an analytical and motivated member of Analysis and Valuation team – a part of INVL Asset Management Finance department, which is independent from the funds managed by INVL.
Main responsibilities:
- Valuation of existing private equity investments after acquisition which involves preparing and updating periodic valuation models using methods such as discounted cash flows and multiples
- Reviewing valuations prepared by third-party appraisers for alternative assets, such as real assets, renewable energy, and private debt.
- Analysis and evaluation of financial statements and business plans of portfolio companies across different industries;
- Fair value calculation of option agreements, financial instruments or other derivatives in alternative funds;
- Coordination of annual investment valuation process with auditors;
- Preparation of financial statements and sensitivity analysis;
- Calculation of financial and risk indicators of existing funds;
- Modeling funds’ performance scenarios and returns
- Supporting finance colleagues in day-to-day activities, including business development, market research and other ad-hoc tasks.
We expect that you have:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Mathematics ;
- Good understanding of international accounting principles and corporate finance;
- At least 2 years of experience in related financial analysis role, audit, financial advisory/M&A or business valuations.
- Experience in financial modelling and advanced Excel skills;
- Ability to create and apply valuation models (i.e. DCF, multiples);
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Diligence, responsibility, teamwork skills;
- Constant search for learning and improvement and high personal reliability;
- Excellent command of English (oral and written).
- Certifications such as CFA would be an advantage.
