We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Analyst to join our team. This role supports the Operations function in delivering consistent operational excellence by managing daily automated reconciliations and identifying both risks and areas for improvement. The role involves a combination of reactive problem-solving and strategic thinking. You will collaborate with teams across the business to assess the operational impact of firm-wide changes and communicate key updates effectively. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to building a robust operational platform, supporting the launch of new products and adapting to evolving regulatory requirements.

There is strong potential for personal and professional growth in this role, and team members are encouraged to take ownership of processes and contribute to decision-making that affects the firm’s broader trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage daily reconciliations with brokers and fund administrators, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, including hands-on investigation of discrepancies.

Identify and implement improvements to internal systems and processes to drive operational efficiency.

Collaborate with internal teams to help shape operational priorities based on business needs.

Maintain strong operational relationships with brokers, ensuring service levels are met and addressing escalated issues when necessary.

Prepare and review monthly NAV reconciliations in coordination with fund administrators.

About You:

You are proactive, motivated, and take initiative to maintain high standards in your work.

You are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities, balancing time-sensitive tasks with strategic initiatives.

You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical colleagues and external partners.

You learn quickly, adapt well to change, and are comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You are naturally inquisitive and approach ambiguous problems with enthusiasm and a practical mindset.

You are confident in your ideas but open to feedback, always aiming for the best possible outcome.

Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in Excel is essential; knowledge of SQL, Python, or other technical tools is a plus, though a desire to grow and learn is most important.

A strong interest in finance and/or quantitative trading, with an eagerness to understand and address the challenges within the industry.

Education:

A degree in an analytical discipline is required. While degrees in mathematics or science can be advantageous, we value diverse academic backgrounds that demonstrate strong analytical thinking.
