About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Investment Director to lead the origination, evaluation, and execution of strategic investment opportunities. The role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of capital markets, strong deal-making acumen, and the ability to drive long-term value creation across diverse portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end investment process from deal sourcing to execution and post-investment value creation.
- Evaluate investment opportunities in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, technology, and financial services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with investment banks, advisors, promoters, and other stakeholders.
- Guide due diligence processes, including financial modeling, risk analysis, and strategic fit assessments.
- Present investment theses and recommendations to the Investment Committee and Board.
- Monitor and optimize portfolio performance; engage with portfolio company management on strategic initiatives.
- Provide leadership to junior team members and support firm-wide knowledge building.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in investment management, private equity, investment banking, or corporate strategy.
- Proven track record of leading and closing large investment deals.
- MBA/CFA/CA or equivalent qualifications; international education/experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Deep industry knowledge and ability to develop sectoral insights.
