About the Opportunity We're conducting a confidential search on behalf of a highly respected, family-owned investment bank with a long track record in energy dealmaking. Their Exploration & Production team advises oil & gas clients on M&A, A&D, and capital raising, and they're looking to add an Associate ready to run live deals and grow into a long-term career.
What You'll Do
Play a key role in executing M&A, A&D, and capital-raising transactions
Build and oversee detailed financial models, valuation, and pricing analyses
Prepare CIPs, management presentations, and marketing materials
Support live engagements, business due diligence, and industry/comparable-company research
Mentor and develop analysts while maintaining direct client contact
What You Bring
2–4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or a strong M&A platform
Energy / E&P (oil & gas) exposure preferred — or deep M&A reps ready to specialize
Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
Strong accounting and finance foundation; quick to learn valuation methodologies
Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
Sharp written and verbal communication; strong attention to detail
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
