About the Company – Oberon Securities, a 25-year-old middle market investment bank, is actively seeking experienced industry leaders to join our team. We believe that the best investment bankers are often those who bring deep industry knowledge, executive experience, and strong professional networks — even without prior investment banking experience. What makes us unique is our proven track record of successfully integrating these professionals into our firm, either full-time or part-time, as trusted M&A advisors. Positions can be remote or based out of our Midtown Manhattan headquarters.
About the Role – We are looking for respected industry leaders with deep sector expertise and strong executive networks. Ideal candidates may include:
- Current or former CEOs, founders, or senior executives of middle-market businesses (especially those who have led M&A transactions or exits)
- Individuals who are recognized thought leaders in their field — frequent speakers at industry conferences, authors of thought pieces, or active leaders in industry associations
- Professionals with trusted relationships across C-suite networks, especially those with deep connections to business owners and decision-makers
- Select high-level advisors or consultants who work closely with company leadership on strategy, growth, or transactions
We’re particularly interested in professionals who are known and respected in their industry, and who are looking to leverage their experience and relationships in an M&A and / or financing advisory role.
Responsibilities –
- Leverage your industry knowledge to identify potential M&A opportunities
- Utilize your network to source and develop new client relationships
- Provide strategic advice to clients in your area of expertise
- Collaborate with our experienced banking team on deal execution taking on more of a leadership role as you further develop your M&A and financing skill set
Qualifications – No prior investment banking experience required: We provide training and support to help you transition into this role.
