I’m currently partnering with a global investment management firm looking to hire an Associate into their Credit Investment team in New York, with a focus on leveraged loans.
They are specifically targeting candidates coming from a Leveraged Finance background who are looking to transition into a buy-side investing role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2–3 years of experience in:
- Leveraged Finance (LevFin)
- Fixed Income / Credit
- High Yield Debt
- Background at an investment bank strongly preferred
- Strong grounding in credit analysis, capital structures, and debt instruments
- Experience in a formal credit training program is highly preferred
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skill set
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate and underwrite leveraged credit opportunities, primarily Term Loan B
- Perform deep-dive credit analysis and downside risk assessment
- Build and maintain financial models
- Support investment decisions through research and due diligence
- Monitor portfolio positions and track credit performance
- Work directly with senior investors on live deals and portfolio strategy
