Role Description
Aztec Group is seeking an Analyst to join our Hospitality Investments team. This is a high-visibility role supporting both the acquisitions and asset management functions, providing direct exposure to senior leadership, lenders, and operating partners. The ideal candidate is analytically rigorous and eager to develop a deep understanding of hospitality real estate.
Qualifications
- 0 – 2 years of relevant experience (internships in real estate, investment banking, hotel finance, or hospitality consulting will be considered)
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, including building models from scratch
- Solid understanding of real estate finance concepts (IRR, multiples, waterfalls, cap rates, debt yield)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, Hospitality, or related field
- Prior exposure to the hospitality industry
- Familiarity with STR, CoStar, HVS, and other industry data sources
- Experience with InDesign and ARGUS Enterprise
- Knowledge of major hotel brands, management companies, and franchise structures
