The Opportunity

As part of the FSGS M&A team at PwC you will advise multinational corporations, private equity firms, and private companies on the tax aspects of diligence and structuring deals. As a Manager you will lead teams, manage client accounts, focus on strategic planning, and mentor junior staff to achieve project success and uphold top standards.

  • Advise on tax aspects of diligence and structuring deals
  • Communicate findings and opportunities to clients
  • Analyze various cross-border tax issues and legislative updates
  • Manage cross-border components of tax structuring projects
  • Interview target companies and their tax advisors
  • Assist on post-deal structuring and exit scenarios
  • Lead teams and manage client accounts
  • Focus on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff

Professional Background and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • At least 4 years of experience in tax, consulting, or related field
  • CPA, bar membership, or other relevant credentials are considered a plus
  • A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation can serve as a substitute for a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Knowledge of cross‑border M&A transactions
  • Experience in international taxation consulting
  • Knowledge of public accounting practices
  • Performing financial analyses for transactions
  • Analyzing structural realignment and financial statements
  • Improving tax efficiencies within an M&A context
  • Building and utilizing client relationships
  • Managing project workflow and budgets
  • Supervising teams and coaching staff

  • Analyse and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system.
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
  • Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Effectively mentor others.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $99,000 – $266,000, with compensation dependent on skills, experience, qualifications, and location. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, vacation, personal and family sick leave, and other benefits.
