Role & Purpose

Due to growth, Acclime is seeking an Intermediate Transfer Pricing Advisor to join as a key member of Acclime's Transfer Pricing team based in Melbourne . The role offers broad exposure across the full transfer pricing lifecycle, from setting up new operations to, providing advisory and operational TP support to documenting and defending existing positions.

In addition to client-facing work, the role provides exposure to Acclime Group's own internal transfer pricing arrangements, giving the successful candidate valuable insight into how transfer pricing policy is designed and implemented within a large, multinational professional services group. This is a genuine opportunity for an entrepreneurial, technically curious professional to build a well-rounded transfer pricing career while contributing ideas to modernise and automate the way the team works.

What you will be doing?

  • Prepare Australian transfer pricing documentation, including local files, functional analyses and benchmarking studies.
  • Assist with the preparation of International Dealings Schedules, Australian Local Files and related transfer pricing compliance disclosures.
  • Identify and help implement opportunities to streamline and automate recurring transfer pricing processes and documentation workflows.
  • Support senior team members on transfer pricing advisory engagements, including intercompany pricing policy design and business restructures.
  • Assist with responses to ATO transfer pricing reviews, audits and information requests.
  • Contribute to Acclime Group's internal transfer pricing compliance requirements, including maintaining intercompany agreements and policy documentation.
  • Keep up to date with developments in Australian transfer pricing law, ATO guidance and the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, and share insights with the wider team.
  • Support the team's business development and client relationship activities as opportunities arise.
  • Manage own workload and deadlines effectively, escalating issues or delays to senior team members in a timely manner.

What are we looking for?

  • Approximately two years' relevant experience in transfer pricing, gained within a professional services firm, in-house tax/TP function, or be able to show genuine interest and understanding to move into TP from another tax, economic or legal field.
  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, accounting, economics, law, finance or a related discipline.
  • Sound working knowledge of the arm's length principle and its application under Australian transfer pricing law and the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines.
  • Practical experience preparing or contributing to transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking analyses or economic reports.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and a general affinity to software solutions and AI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences.
  • An entrepreneurial, proactive mindset, with a genuine interest in identifying smarter, more efficient ways of working, including through automation and technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • A collaborative team player who is also comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of tasks.
